News From The Task Force

Updated January 25, 2012

WE'RE READY TO VOTE!
Plan to attend House Corp Meeting Feb. 26

After months of discussions, design reviews, feedback and idea-gathering, the special Task Force established to work with Simpson on the potential for a new chapter house is ready to make its final presentation and recommendations. This is a truly exciting time for our chapter and we hope that you will plan to attend the February House Corp meeting where we will officially vote on the project.

All alumnae of Delta Chapter are automatically members of House Corp. According to our by-laws, a simple majority vote is required from those physically in attendance at the meeting. We will not be able to accommodate absentee or remote votes.

At the meeting, the Task Force will share the latest architectural renderings, early concepts of interiors, financial and contractual details and information. In advance of the meeting, we invite you to review the downloadable floor plans and renderings posted on the website.

Please mark your calendars and plan to attend:

Delta Chapter House Corp Meeting
  • Sunday, February 26, 2012
  • 2:00 p.m.

Thank you to the many alumnae and collegiate chapter members that have participated in this process. The Task Force truly appreciates the input, suggestions and recommendations made. We have made every effort to ensure this has and will continue to be an inclusive and open dialogue. We’re very excited to share final plans and feel that we are ready to officially vote on the project.

We hope to see you on February 26.

Amy Templeton, President, Delta Chapter House Corp.
Rose Kleyweg Mitchell, Co-Chair Task Force
